Kim Valentine

Kim is comprehensively trained in STOTT Pilates® Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels. Kim was introduced to low-impact fitness by attending classes with her mom at a young age. While taking barre classes brought Kim into studios, practicing and teaching Pilates is her passion. With an athletic background, Pilates helped Kim feel truly at home in her body.

Kim pursued her first training to become a barre instructor at North End Yoga in 2018. While teaching barre, she became certified in Classical Mat through PowerPilates. Kim is currently pursuing her comprehensive STOTT Pilates® certification. STOTT’s renowned contemporary approach resonated with her to be able to share Pilates in a modern and functional way.

Her approachable personality and style of teaching encourages students to safely deepen their Pilates practice through holistic cueing and anatomical alignment. Known for her thoughtful sequencing and strong attention to form, Kim’s classes provide just the right amount of breathwork, mobility, stability, body awareness and challenge. You’ll leave class feeling revitalized and restored within your body. 

Kim’s goal for all students is not necessarily to focus on looking a certain way, but to find joy in moving for the sake of movement itself.
