Tyla Vercollone

As a North End local and fellow member of the Soma community, Tyla is thrilled to join the Pilates team!
Tyla has been teaching reformer and mat pilates for over 15 years and she is currently pursuing her comprehensive certification through Balanced Body. Under the mentorship of Zayna Gold, she works as a full-time pilates instructor at Boston Body Pilates, where she teaches both group and private sessions on the reformer. In Tyla’s fusion class you can expect a combination of traditional pilates moves with elements of barre, yoga and dance. People new to pilates can expect to get an invigorating mix of toning, stretching and core work. She’ll focus a lot in posture and alignment, and many of her students say they feel taller and having better posture after completing class. Regardless of whether you’re new to pilates or a seasoned practitioner, the hour will be fun and will fly by! Tyla graduated from Berklee College of Music so you can expect an amazing playlist with a variety of genres to drive the energy of her classes. Tyla lives in the North End with her rescue-pup Charlie.
